Mzuri is an innovative performance music and dance company with 16 professional artists who deliver workshops and interactive music and dance shows primarily throughout Australia. Mzuri allows old and new arts from Africa and the West to develop fresh ideas and meaning that are inspirational to audiences and patrons. Mzuri techniques emerge with well respected traditions fused with cutting edge interpretations from our urban culture ready to serve.
Mzuri ran the opening ceremonies for the Commonwealth Games in 2006 for the City of Whitehorse; has performed and choreographed for events for Premier and Cabinet and Premier Gala dinner, has run team building workshops with corporate such as Exon Mobil, TRU Energy, and Mzuri appeared on television recently in 2007 on Summer in the City with Livinia Nixon and the Channel 9 Today Show.
